Accessibility statement

This site targets WCAG 2.2, level AA.

Current status

Conformance has not been verified yet. The site is still being built, and the full testing pass has not been run: automated audits on every page, a screen reader pass on one desktop and one mobile platform, and a check that the focus indicator survives forced colors mode. This statement will be updated with a verified status, naming anything that does not conform, before the site is announced. It will not claim a conformance that has not been tested.

What has been done so far

Every page has been checked with a keyboard alone, at 320px width, and at 400% zoom. The colour contrast values used across the site were calculated rather than assumed. The focus indicator uses two rings rather than one, because no single colour clears the contrast floor against every surface used here.

Reporting a problem

If any part of this site is not usable for you, that is a defect rather than an inconvenience.

Open an issue on the thedeveco.org repository

It is worth reporting even if you are not certain it is a bug, and particularly if something fails with a keyboard, with a screen reader, or at high zoom.
